Malosa Secondary School, based in Zomba is a boarding school for young boys and girls. There are approximately around 200 girls and some 300 boys attending the school. Tukula visited the campus, and it was a great pleasure to see the delivery of Safepads to all girls at the school. The ceremony started with a welcome from the headmaster. Thereafter the special invited teacher from Safepads gave a tutorial in the usage of Safepads. Afterwards there was a good questions and answers session about daily usage. Each girl received a package consisting of 4 re-usable Safepads, and a sanitary reusable bag for used Safepads. Instructions are written on the package, but was also given in the tutorial. All content of the Safepad package is produced locally in Malawi, and thereby also provides direct economic funds to Safepad and its employees.
